6th Aug -KL , Earlier today , the Ministry of Entrepreneur Development & Cooperative organised a Dialog Belanjawan 2025 .
This dialogue session brought together key stakeholders, policymakers, associations, business chambers, cooperatives and business leaders to discuss and shape the upcoming Budget 2025,ensuring it addresses the needs of entrepreneurs and cooperatives across the nation.
The Minister YB Datuk Ewon Benedick , Deputy Minister YB Datuk Ramanan Ramakrishnan , Secretary General Dato’ Sri Suriani Binti Dato’ Ahmad & all the Head of Agencies represented the Ministry .
KLSICCI was represented by President Mr.Nivas Ragavan, Deputy President Mr. V Prabagaran and Hononary Secretary General Ms.Mogana Chinnathamby for this Dialogue Session.
The President addressed key pertinent points to the Minister in his recommended proposed suggestions for the Budget 2025. KLSICCI also handed over the Budget 2025 proposed Recommendations to the YB Minister after the dialogue session .

The ministry reaffirmed its commitment to foster a robust entrepreneurial ecosystem to support MSMEs through various financial and non-financial initiatives which includes business advisory & capacity building .

Emphasis on accelerating digital transformation among MSMEs. Initiatives include grants for adopting digital tools, training on e-commerce and subsidies for digital infrastructure.

Enhancing accessibility to finance Startups and MSMEs through government-backed loans and to expand the grant opportunities, particularly for innovative sectors.

Introduction of subsidized training programs aimed at upskilling entrepreneurs in areas such as financial management, digital literacy and sustainable practices.

Strategies to facilitate market access for local businesses, including trade missions, online marketplaces and partnerships with large corporations.
The dialogue session was a valuable platform for voicing & addressing the concerns and proposed recommended suggestions of our KLSICCI members & the MSME community . The proposed measures in Budget 2025 shows a promising commitment to create an inclusive and supportive environment for entrepreneurs. KLSICCI looks forward to continued collaboration with the Ministry to ensure the successful implementation of these initiatives, benefiting our community and driving economic growth.
