ப்ரிக்(BRIC) அமைப்பில் மலேசியா உறுப்பினராக விண்ணப்பித்துள்ளது குறித்து இந்த சந்திப்பின் போது விவாதிக்கப்பட்டது. இந்த அமைப்பின் தலைமை தற்போது ரஷியாவிடம் உள்ளது என்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.
